    A prospective medical doctor currently working on expanding her research portfolio in Neuroscience and Microbiology. Her previous work has led to the discovery of a novel gene - swip10 that regulates dopamine signaling and is implicated in neuropsychiatric disorders such as Parkinsons and Alzheimer’s. She is currently interested in ways microorganisms and biophysics can be utilized to shrink brain tumors and provide a cure for neurodegenerative disease.Her current publication examining the gateway through which nasal Microbiota may influence respiratory and neurological disease has been highlighted in encyclopedia.pub.

  • Temisan Blagogee

    Temisan Blagogee is originally from Lagos, Nigeria and is a 4th year medical student at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Human Development from the University of Chicago. Her past and current have focused on a wide array of issues relating to women's health. She is currently interested in global health and women's health especially improving maternal mortality in underserved communities including in Nigeria.
