Two New DNPT Scholarships to Apply For - Right Now

DNPT is pleased to announce the arrival of two new scholarships to support and celebrate our outstanding students. We are creating new opportunities and breaking new grounds and we appreciate all our members and non-members who are helping cultivate our efforts. Here is information on the scholarships.

1- $500 DNPT Membership Scholarship

This scholarship is available to all the due paying members of DNPT. Using either one of the following prompts, please submit responses to DNPT.membership@gmail.com.

A) In 350 - 500 words, please describe your future plans to solve healthcare issues in Nigeria.

B) Using a 3 - 5 min video, briefly explain a healthcare problem you wish to solve in Nigeria and how.

*This Scholarship is available all year round and will be dispersed under the discretion of the E-board.

2- $1000 ANPA Olusegun Salako Travel Fellowship

This award is for the best abstract submitted by a student, resident or fellow during the 28th annual scientific conference on June 22-26, 2022 and is inclusive of the travel cost to the conference. Trainees who are active members of DNPT are automatically eligible. Non-DNPT members will need an ANPA member sponsor to verify their affiliation (i.e trainee must be of Nigerian heritage, citizen of Nigeria, spouse of a Nigerian or otherwise demonstrate Nigerian affinity acceptable to the sponsor). The ANPA sponsor must be a member in good standing (i.e up to date with their dues). The ANPA sponsor is not required to be a co-author on the abstract.

All abstracts should send their submissions to the program chair at Nwomeh.1@osu.edu by January 31, 2022 using the instructions in this manual.
