The business consists of two arms: an infrastructure investing arm that prioritizes healthcare, clean energy, and social infrastructure, and a venture capital arm that invests in pre-Series A start-ups in the fields of fintech and healthtech. Healthcap has made substantial investments in close to 30 start-ups specializing in fintech and healthtech.

On the infrastructure front, Healthcap has an impressive pipeline of healthcare, clean energy, and clean water projects spanning the entire continent, amounting to nearly $800 million. Driven by her entrepreneurial spirit, Dr. Ola Brown previously established Flying Doctors Nigeria, a technologically advanced marketplace for urgent care services. The platform has successfully delivered services in over 100 countries and effectively responded to more than 5000 urgent care requests.

Dr. Ola Brown has an impressive literary portfolio, with four published books to her name: "EMQ's in Paediatrics," "Pre-Hospital Care for Africa," "Fixing Healthcare in Nigeria: A Guide to Public Healthcare Policy," and "Banking, Finance & Economics in Emerging Markets: An Essay Collection."
